Next build, suggestions with a CF stage?

Hi, my last build with a CF was decades ago (a Hi Octane). I miss the cathode follower smooth overdrive character, so looking for preamp schematics with 2/3 gain stages, a CF, TMB and PI. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks

Are you thinking 18 watts? There are plenty of kits with 2 and even 3 stage preamps plus CF and PI feeding a pair of EL84s. Pointing you in the right direction would depend where you live.
There are schematics for some TMB varieties available on this site.
