Cheap foreign made tubes!!! (mullards?)
Have you tried another tube?
Have you tried tube dampeners? They will reduce the rattle in some cases.

Some tubes are not as mechanically solid or stable as others and they will work but rattle. I had that problem recently and replacment was the best option. You can replace the tube, or maybe get a tube damping ring, but it's probably cheaper to replace the tube.
