OK, I never really liked that insipid colour scheme, but here's your instant WEM museum. Looks like it'll fetch a tidy sum, too:

I'd say the times had alot to do with the color style,alot of things were 2-tone.. But i guess the amps fit in with the hair doos or hair don'ts of that time. Now they would look nice as matching end tables..

Personally, I like those cool retro colours - although they weren't 'retro' at the time, though. I'll have one of those old amps any time. As for your MkIII dominator, the best idea is to rip its PCB out and build an 18watter inside.
