Input Jack Problem
Output on Normal channel started cutting out and goes in and out when I wiggle the input. Looks like it could be the grounding of the input jack. Can't see any problems, but I'm a novice. I thought I read someone else having problems with this. I have the Cliff jacks. The jack is hooked up to my ground buss.
Any tips to help with difficulties?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Take heart - you're not alone. 99.9% of all problems have been user-error. I don't think I have yet had a component failure. It is so very easy to solder something in the wrong spot, or get the wrong resistor, or miss a solder joint completely (BTDT). Go through you input jacks wire by wire, forwards and backwards until you figure out the problem. You might even get a couple more jacks and rewire them again. I am fairly sure that you will find your mistake and that you will kick yourself in the butt when you figure it out.
Make sure your solder connections are solid, and that you don't haveany stray strands of wire shorting out your signal. It needs to be clean.
Let us know what you find.
