Question for Gabi
Ok Gabi i have this simple question, since your the PC master guru..
Alot of times people ask for help, and as you know, and many others, its usually the trem problems,or just a few other things.
Since we can only offer suggestions, and just going blindly,it sure helps to have a pic of the amp. If there was some way or place for people that was needing help to upload a pic. It wouldn't have to stay there, just a temporary place, and once they get there amp going, the pics could be removed,so another person might use it. It also may hep for people building to look at and see some of the suggestions we might make to someone on there amp. The trem seems to cause the most problems,as you know, small things in this circut can cause problems.
Just a thought,or suggestion.

Richie...
That is great. I agree with you. The only resources for us are the pics.
In the pre-flood forum version we allowed users to attach pictures to their posts.
I was just yesterday tweaking the forums to enable that attachment thingie again... Unfortunately it takes a while. But I should have it up in the next week or so.
Till then I created an album called "Troubleshooting" where logged in users can upload their troubled amp pics... The album is at the very top of all other albums list in the Gallery. You'll find it... it is very obvious
Once in, users only have to click on the [add photos] link on the top right corner... From there they will navigate to their photo-to-upload from their own machine, click it and that's it!
From there they will be able to reffer it with the link to their post in the Forums.
This is temporary till I will enable attaching pictures to postings. Then we'll rock!
So check the Gallery for the new album called TROUBLESHOOTING...
take care,
gabi.
