This Months Tube Selection for the sIII TMB

Happy February everyone. This month I went through an number of 12AX7s from my private reserve (rectangular tupperware thingy with dividers) and came up with a combo that sounds very good and even looks good on paper.
V1 Mullard 12ax7 - Need I say more
V2 Phillips Labled Mullard
V3 Telefunken Smooth Plate 12ax7 Phase Inverter slot
The sound is raw with lots of mids but has a certain crispsness and attack that I like. I'll post clips tommrow when I get a chance.
P.S. I have a pair of Amperex EL84's in there. They just beat out the Sylvania black plates for the tone I was looking for.
